This article attempts to to turn difficult concepts into plain English so we can better understand it. Some teachers qualify certain planets as dead Marana Karka Sthana if they are placed in certain houses like Jupiter in the 3rd and Venus in the 6th and Sun in the 12th. That would be too simple as Vedic astrology is so complicated and so many factors to look at. For me planets in certain houses may lose their dharmic nature and thus be a bit wounded but not dead. This has a fancy name of Marana Kararka Sthana but it just means that planets do not well in those houses. The opposite case is that planets that have Dig Bala gain strength from certain houses. While Vedic astrologers learn these rules, it is important to find a language to explain to your clients so that they understand the lessons involved. Here is a quick guide for best house placement and worse house placement. Note these house places in the natal chart, moon chart or other divisional charts vargas will elicit results for those specific charts so these placements turn up more often and should be looked for carefully. Sun in the 10th is best. Sun thrives in activity and in seeking status and being recognized so Sun in the 10th house has the highest energy. Sun in the 12th house is the most challenging placement because the Sun is hidden and unnoticed and feels abandoned, unsupported and secretive. This may have been a result of an unavailable father and leads to poor self-confidence, heart problems, health problems and breathing problems. Moon in the 4th is the best placement for the moon where happiness reigns, mother is at home and in the heart. Emotional support is full and one feel nurtured, affectionate content and with expanding full feelings. This can lead to shyness, distance from mother, sexual extremes, jealous, intense desire to be loved and dangers from water accidents. This often leads to fights in relationship at work, selfish partners, aggression and disputes and reproductive problems. It produces practical business people who are loyal and dutiful in partnerships. This position creates selfishness, depression, isolation and slow physical development and low self-esteem. Jupiter has dig bala and does best in the 1st house where wisdom, joy and generosity create great status and generosity and luck with children, wealthy and good coaches and teachers. It leads to low energy and poor attention, boredom, lack of resources and poor attention to detail. May not seriously understand the value of wisdom, spirituality and honor teachers. Mercury here is conscientious, principled, ethical, good at speech and math and writing. Mercury does worse in the 7th house or the 4th house. It also makes one too critical of partners and does not allow love to flow smoothly. Sixth house is the house of celibacy and Venus is more at home in its sexual energy and this leads to problems. It is a schemer here holding onto private bizarre philosophies rather than embracing the traditional. Of course these rules are general and will be colored by sign, planetary aspects, nakshatra placements and other associations. A planet exalted or in its own sign in MKS Marana Karaka Stana may have a better chance at overcoming a poor placement like Sun in the 12th in Leo but still may lack poor judgment and not get through it as 12th house placements are often life-long journeys. If the owner of the house where the planet is places is afflicted, suffering may be more intense such as Sun in the 12th and aspected by Saturn and or Rahu may even create an almost deep curse. The remedy for these poor placements of Marana Karaka Sthana is to workship the ruler of Karaka of the house that is involved. So if Mars is in the 7th house, then one needs to worship Venus, the karaka for the 7th house to overcome the relationship problems. Need help with a reading? Hit the request tab at www. What are the really "bad" astrological placements in your natal chart?

I know Saturn places difficulty in any house but is there such a thing for Saturn to be placed in a house making it a lot more difficult for the person? Some Astrologers I've talked to say Saturn in house 7, 5, 1 are very difficult than any other house placement. Do you guys think there is such a thing, of Saturn being positioned in a house making it the worst house placement for saturn? Here's a quote, an astrologer I speak to said to me as I asked her a question about Saturn in my natal house 1 conjunction ASC: "Yes, more than anything else Saturn in the first, conjunct the 1st house and Capricorn or Aquarius rising all can display this characteristic. Saturn in the 1st house tends to indicate a native that erodes their own self esteem with pessimistic attitudes and a detrimentally self-critical attitude. These natives tend to focus to heavily on the negative aspects of their personality and rarely acknowledge their good characteristics. In some cases I have seen the native claim that they have none. The key with this placement is to quiet the constant self-critic and learn to acknowledge their good qualities; praise themselves for doing a good job and ignore impertinent mistakes. This placement has the potential for superior discipline and can achieve much if they can put behind them their self-doubt and criticism. Anyway my best friend I read that this delays partnership and the native may possibly not marry and if they do it won't be for love more like settlement but not a good one. I also read that Saturn in house 5 makes it hard to birth children? IP: Logged. In the 5th probably means they find it harder to let loose and have fun. D: I dunno, I haven't had any kids yet, lol. I'm not sure how I could determine if it's any better or any worse than other placements soo I guess I'll just watch what becomes of this thread. I don't think so with meeee I actually have fun all da time, wherever I go. C: Well, until me and whoever I'm with decides to go home and relax. Then I'll let down my Libra Asc. I feel the need to defend it too because I have this placement.

Ask Real Astrologers: Worst Chart Ever?

Over recent years, astrology is increasingly becoming popularized in mainstream society. Some parts do…… but not really. Guess what? Astrology and your personal natal chart is much more detailed and is essentially a universal map to your entire existence. Time, space, and matter are all what science calls a continuum, so it makes sense that the exact time and place different celestial objects were when you were born influence the energies embodied in your spirit. Your natal chart is meticulously calculated which is what produces the beautiful soul you are. Your sun sign is which constellation the sun was passing through when you were born. It is the essence of your soul and is undoubtedly the most dominant aspect of your chart. Sun transits happen approximately every month. Your moon sign rules the deeper part of your personality. It is an indicator of your subconscious tendencies, innate abilities, etc. It intensifies the traits seen within your sun sign. Moon transits occur approximately every two days. People often confuse what distinguishes their moon sign from their Venus sign. For example, my moon is also in Leo. When I look at myself, I think I embody everything as a Leo. Your ascendant sign changes every few hours. It is likely why people are surprised to find out your zodiac sign. A more reserved Gemini or an extremely outgoing Pisces is likely due to a different ascendant. For example, I am a Virgo ascendant. Load and behold, my Virgo rising makes me slightly more reserved and logical.
