Nothing on Twitch will launch

Minecraft keeps crashing when I try to boot up my Twitch modpack MC. Eternal and I'm not sure how to get around it. My computer should be able to support this no problem. It seems to be a different mod each time. Crash log in the spoiler below. How might I go about doing this, besides installing more RAM? Because that's not an option at the moment. Not sure if there's a specific value I'm supposed to set them to, so I bumped them up to and respectively. Let's see if that does the trick. I have a simmilar issue however even after adjust the RAM to 6gb it crashes the second i try to launch. Have to assume it's good. FMLTweaker FMLCorePlugin is not signed! FMLForgePlugin is not signed! (friend) Can't launch any mod pack

Trying to play modded minecraft through Twitch app, keeps using outdated Minecraft launcher 1. Everytime I launched a modpack through the Twitch desktop app, it launches an old launcher 1. When I try to log in, it says I cannot connect to any servers i'm assuming this is because it is using such an outdated launcher? My vanilla minecraft is up to date and runs fine. The twitch desktop app has 2 launchers it can use, by default install it should be the newer "native launcher" and there is the old jar launcher 1. Native Launcher Jar Launcher To change the launcher used: go to file - settings, scroll down to minecraft on the left and select. Hope this helps. Pjc21Dec 25, TCTApr 7, I had something similar, recently put my 1. This pack I built up using the new launcher. Go to test it within Twitch, and it always fails to load the native launcher. Had to change the config to use the old launcher, and it loaded fine. You can always make a new instance in the new launcher, and copy the Project Ozone 2 folder over from the twitch install location. That's what I did, and never had to load up twitch again. Too many layers built in. The FTB launcher was much more streamline. GolrithApr 12, Reddis likes this. Never liked the native launcher. The JAR launcher is far more informative on crashes. Not everything gives a proper crash report, but the info you get in that stream of text from the JAR launcher is far more informative than the pretty much the "launch failed" you get from the native launcher. I've had issues since Curse and Twitch integrated and the support team hasn't helped at all. If anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated! Hey I wanted to find out if there was a way to get the modpacks to work without internet because I typically play Minecraft modpacks when my internet goes down then I get back into it Minecraft for like months. It will begin downloading the modpack. However, the actual mods are not included in the download. The program MultiMC can use it. Select Import from zipthen browse. You'll be presented with file explorer, select the modpack. Forge is another option. Other than those you can't unless you get the server files to integrate the mods into a minecraft server. Modpacks are just collections of mods sometimes tweaked with configs obviously if a server pack then you'll have to be careful as if it's built to work a certain way it is expected to work with those files. You can just get mods to make your own modpack instead of relying on modpacks made by other players and do whatever you want with the mods of your choice you don't need a modpack if you know how to install Forge, Liteloader, Rift, Fabric and setup your own. Depends on what you really want of course but it is really easy to do and you don't have to rely on modpacks or Twitch to have fun with mods once you know how to setup a modloader no matter the version of Minecraft 1. Modding the game hasn't changed for players since 1. Fabric 1. Rollback Post to Revision RollBack. Well you can always add them manually through forge. Yes, you can do this. On the modpack page, click here: And then click here: It will begin downloading the modpack. It should begin downloading. When it's done, select it to play! Note you may have to sign in with your account at the top right before you can play. Last edited by matthewboy : Jul 28, Last edited by SuntannedDuck2 : Nov 15, Posts Quoted:. Previous Thread. Discussion in ' Tech Support ' started by genthugJun 7, Log in or Sign up. Feed the Beast. I am running NVidia's latest driver Any help would be appreciated. I was able to play each of these modpacks just last night, and suddenly literally none of them work, even after both fresh installs of the packs themselves and an entire fresh install of the Twitch app. Bit of added information--for both SkyFactory and for Beyond, I noticed that the launcher was consistently crashing at the same point, always at RFTools. Removing RFTools from both packs ended up allowing the packs to launch. If anyone has any other info or any questions for me please ask, I would love to be able to play these again. If not, could you at least point me in a direction where I could ask elsewhere to actually get an answer? Try updating graphics driver first, then Java and see if that helps. QuetziJun 14, Both are updated to the latest version. One of the first things I did myself after coming on to the forums was uninstall every single NVidia Driver that was leftover on my system from when I'd been updating them. I just attempted to switch the Java that was being used from the one that comes with the pack via the Twitch Launcher to 1. At this point I could likely do a system restore to the point prior to my updating Windows Would that be something that I should try to do? These issues only started popping up when that happened. Windows 10 Pro Build Edit::Also, if the update you're speaking of was the recent "Creators Update", that was the update in question that occurred the day these packs all collectively stopped working. Last edited: Jun 14, So--I reset my computer. It was subsequently working again. After downloading them, they no longer wanted to launch. After uninstalling both of them, the games would launch. I do not know which one it is at this moment in time however it was one of these utilities that was preventing the game from launching successfully. You must log in or sign up to reply here.
