The Demon Marchosias

Like fellow demon Glasya-Labolasthe demoness Marchosias was once a young prodigy among the Angelic Orders. Unlike Labolas, Marchosias is a very open and friendly demon who is known to be a reliable helper to those who have summoned her. She has large black wings and straight blonde hair. In demon form she appears much differently. In various descriptions the demon form of Marchosias is said to be that of a wolf with griffin wings and a serpent's tail. This fearsome creature is said to also spit fire from its mouth. Often such frightening forms are used by demons in order to scare off amateur summoners who tend to waste the demon's time. Despite her young and slight frame, Marchosias is a powerful being and a master of conflicts. She is one of the most highly skilled warriors among her kind, displaying a high degree of both physical and strategic knowledge. As Glasya-Labolas is the young demon prodigy in terms of scholarship, Marchosias is the young demon prodigy of war and conflict. Any argument, no matter how large or small, can be swayed by her. She is equally influential over both verbal and physical arguments and can advise of successful strategies to those who call upon her. Having once been of the Angelic Order of Dominations, Marchosias chose to join the "Fallen" angels who left the Orders long ago. She was initially against the separation of the Angels, but chose to leave after having to choose sides. She is one of a handful of demons who wish for all angels and demons to eventually reunite. Alphabetic Name List of the 72 Demons of Goetia. Below are four key books on demons and demonology from the late 16th century to 20th century. It was compiled in the midth century, mostly from materials a couple of centuries older. Weyer does not cite, and is unaware of, any other books in the Lemegeton, indicating that the Lemegeton was derived from his work, not the other way around. The order of the spirits was changed between the two, four additional spirits were added to the later work, and one spirit Pruflas was omitted. Indeed, it appears that the Ars Goetia is more dependent upon Scot's translation of Weyer than Weyer's work in itself. This portion of the work was later translated by S. Crowley added some additional invocations previously unrelated to the original work, as well as essays describing the rituals as psychological exploration instead of demon summoning. Rituals not found in Steganographia were added, in some ways conflicting with similar rituals found in the Ars Goetia and Ars Paulina. Most of the spirits summoned are tied to points on a compass, four Emperors tied to the cardinal points, sixteen Dukes tied to cardinal points, inter-cardinal points, additional directions between those. There are an additional eleven Wandering Princes, totaling thirty one spirit leaders who each rule several to a few dozen spirits. Mentioned by Trithemius and Weyer, the latter of whom claimed an Arabic origin for the work. A 15th-century copy is attested to by Robert Turner, and Hebrew copies were discovered in the 20th century. The oldest known portion of the Lemegeton, the Ars Notoria or Notory Art was first mentioned by Michael Scot in and thus was written earlier. It is also known as the Ars Nova. As a result of multiple translations, there are multiple spellings for some of the names, which are given in the articles concerning them. Pictures and illustrations of demons are by L. For lycanthropes who have no experience in taking on a shift, this post will be dedicated to you. All werewolves have a unique wolf, which has unique characteristics. Recommending that a newly awakened werewolf should practice daily on their mindsets, to become one with the animal. For instance, the wolf in which I harbor is Marchosias. He smells of saturn, an autumn wood burning in a subtle fire is the best to describe him. His emotions are of uniqueness. Before actually trying this, you should already have some knowledge of your wolf, step 2 should be a daily fixation. As in, you have already seen the wolf when you first encountered it. Encountering and becoming are different, evoking and invoking. Which will be explained in a separate post. Let the stress that you feel fuel your desire to become the animal. See it, feel it, conjure this image powerfully. In this step you are actually creating an astral archetype to aid in the process. Visualize this as intensely as possible. Will yourself to become the animal. Ignore all thoughts that are not those of an animal. Will a total consciousness merger with the animal. Bringing your senses back to normal. This shifting is called Mental and Phantoma very basic kind of transformation. To where you can feel the connection being presented and allowing the wolf to possess you. Possession in my terms, is allowing a being to inhabit your mind and body. Being a wolf — a carnivore, means following the instinctual patterns that you were born with, shattering Humanity. Until you have control of the power in which releases from the Motus during transformation, then this should be done in private. Maybe at night, away from eyes. Once you get more used to the sensations of your wolf-spirit taking over, you can incorporate it in your daily life. Sometimes, involuntary shifts happen, like a trigger. This has happened to me many times, sudden bursts of energy collecting into my Motus. It causes this aggression that could spring out into any target without meaning to. Shifting in a few seconds rather than 10 minutes of concentration. But information is information. For unawakened werewolves, this can even be worse since they cannot release their potential fluently. In the center of our being, we have a core element that plays a role in our intuition and instinctual behaviours. The Motus is a energy point right above our solar-plexus and below our heart, in the diaphragm. This make-shift chakra acts as an absorber and engine of the wolf and other lycanthropic beings aspect that each lycanthrope has. The moon is powerful, as ancient mythologies perceived it to be a symbol of transformation and the nightside aspects. How a person is born a werewolf, is also the foundation of where exactly the lycanthropic gene became intertwined with the individual. From past lives, the soul will carry distinct energy and augmentations that need to be reawakened again. Gods, spirits or whomever was in your lives before, could be the reason of your genetics of the soul to be that way. There are a few ways of allowing your wolf to surface within you.

(Summon) Marchosias, Hell Archduke

Marchosias is generally a very loud, outspoken and overbearing being. He talks wildly and often makes inappropriate comments without remorse. A running gag in the series occurs where he will say an inappropriate comment, with Margery hitting his Divine Vesseloftentimes saying, "Shut up, Stupid Marcho". Like Margery, he enjoys a good fight and tends to laugh violently during combat, with such incidents being one of the rare times the two are on the same wavelength. Interestingly it is the Crimson Lord that is the more cool-headed character in their partnership compared to his more impulsive contractor. He also calls out Yuji for getting ahead of himself during training, telling him that patience is virtue. He appeared to Margery in the Middle Ages when she was in a critical state just after The Silver killed the people she wanted to kill. He then compelled her to enter into a contract with her. In the battle with LamiesMargery was wounded by Shana and lost control of her power, passing out from the wounds, and thus unconsciously ended up summoning Marchosias into the real world. His true form is a very big, ultramarine-colored werewolf; and his roar could even piece through the Seal and reach to humans outside. Shana's attempt was successful as the giant werewolf disappeared. Marchosias often teases Margeryoften earning a retaliatory punch from her. He does genuinely care about her, however, perhaps not in the form of friendship but as a companion in battle. When Margery temporarily sinks into apathy, Marchosias displays at least a measure of wisdom and understanding for her plight. Nevertheless, he is quick to re-ignite Margery's spark so they may continue their battle against the Denizens and is not above using trickery to do so. The dynamic of their relationship is quite different than that between Shana and Alastor. Marchosias will serve as Margery's vehicle from time to time and occasionally suffers physical abuse at her hands, but they seem to be equals in their quest. Marchosias' true form is a gigantic werewolf with no physical body. He was released from his Grimoire Divine Vessel when Margery lost control of her powers.
