The Demon Marchosias
Like fellow demon Glasya-Labolasthe demoness Marchosias was once a young prodigy among the Angelic Orders. Unlike Labolas, Marchosias is a very open and friendly demon who is known to be a reliable helper to those who have summoned her. She has large black wings and straight blonde hair. In demon form she appears much differently. In various descriptions the demon form of Marchosias is said to be that of a wolf with griffin wings and a serpent's tail. This fearsome creature is said to also spit fire from its mouth. Often such frightening forms are used by demons in order to scare off amateur summoners who tend to waste the demon's time. Despite her young and slight frame, Marchosias is a powerful being and a master of conflicts. She is one of the most highly skilled warriors among her kind, displaying a high degree of both physical and strategic knowledge. As Glasya-Labolas is the young demon prodigy in terms of scholarship, Marchosias is the young demon prodigy of war and conflict. Any argument, no matter how large or small, can be swayed by her. She is equally influential over both verbal and physical arguments and can advise of successful strategies to those who call upon her. Having once been of the Angelic Order of Dominations, Marchosias chose to join the "Fallen" angels who left the Orders long ago. She was initially against the separation of the Angels, but chose to leave after having to choose sides. She is one of a handful of demons who wish for all angels and demons to eventually reunite. It was compiled in the midth century, mostly from materials a couple of centuries older. Weyer does not cite, and is unaware of, any other books in the Lemegeton, indicating that the Lemegeton was derived from his work, not the other way around. The order of the spirits was changed between the two, four additional spirits were added to the later work, and one spirit Pruflas was omitted. Indeed, it appears that the Ars Goetia is more dependent upon Scot's translation of Weyer than Weyer's work in itself. This portion of the work was later translated by S. Crowley added some additional invocations previously unrelated to the original work, as well as essays describing the rituals as psychological exploration instead of demon summoning. For lycanthropes who have no experience in taking on a shift, this post will be dedicated to you. All werewolves have a unique wolf, which has unique characteristics. Recommending that a newly awakened werewolf should practice daily on their mindsets, to become one with the animal. For instance, the wolf in which I harbor is Marchosias. He smells of saturn, an autumn wood burning in a subtle fire is the best to describe him. His emotions are of uniqueness. Before actually trying this, you should already have some knowledge of your wolf, step 2 should be a daily fixation. As in, you have already seen the wolf when you first encountered it. Encountering and becoming are different, evoking and invoking. Which will be explained in a separate post. Let the stress that you feel fuel your desire to become the animal. See it, feel it, conjure this image powerfully. In this step you are actually creating an astral archetype to aid in the process. Visualize this as intensely as possible. The moon is powerful, as ancient mythologies perceived it to be a symbol of transformation and the nightside aspects. How a person is born a werewolf, is also the foundation of where exactly the lycanthropic gene became intertwined with the individual. From past lives, the soul will carry distinct energy and augmentations that need to be reawakened again.
