Last post Oct 06, PM by Koga I have an admin web page, which has 5 textboxes, a fileupload and a "Save" button. Then I have this other page user page, which has an HTML img component in which that image I just saved, should display. However it doesn't. The images have to be in that server, I mean, I cant create a folder in the host and save images there Image' does not contain a definition for 'Save' and no extension method 'Save' accepting a first argument of type 'System. Image' could be found are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference? I don't understand what the handler does : can you explain a little bit please? It is because, I have used System. Image but you have System. Images in the page so that it pick up WebControls instead of drawing. Yes, it is a simple way of serving handling http request and serve any type of response as we desire. I have tried to set webSecurity: false and the error disappeared but the screen is still blank without loading my HTML. The path works for some special characters such as! I have tried using url. As described eiriarteset:. In my stupid ass case blindly following Youtube tutorial not using Webpack. Used single quote instead of backticks in win. I was able to fix this as creeperyang said by adding the code above to my webpack config under the output object. I faced similar issue, the app works as expected in development, but it fails to load after packaging. I was able to fix this by specifying the name as it is in the folder case sensitive i. You can open a new window to a specific route as such:. I was close! But when I load new window using win. As you are opening a new route in a new window will not angular create a new instance of the entire application? In other words, your modules and things that need to be loaded at the start of the application would be loaded again when you open this Login window, right? I am going to open new route setting route in the new window when I click a button on home route. But when I try it, it opens new window with the same home route and does not open setting route. Please help me maximegris. I've just added two components like you did:. But it always opens home component page instead of settings one. Can you please post the content of home. I think you have to add a router-outlet to your template of the HomeComponent. I see that you call that url load function inside ngOnInit. Can you try to call a function to load new window with that url router in home. It still does not go to setting page and it opens home page. Do you have any error in the console? Add win. Could you please call loadURL function inside the home.

I follow the instructions and I run npm start after installing. I get an error on the JS console:. Yea, I get the same thing. Sometimes the electron app will start with that error in the console window. It looks like the index. What versions of node and typescript are you running? Updating those will likely solve your problem. There is a good chance that I am doing this wrong, but here is the offending code snippet:. So, the get method returns an instance of Observable. So, Response should be an Observable, right? Anyways, calling map on response returns the following error in my terminal when running npm start:. Fun fact: If I comment that return line out and run npm start I get no errors in the terminal and electron loads. Then, if I uncomment out that line and save, the hot reload kicks off and the uncommented code works just fine I don't get why that is the case. Electron build is showing inconsistent behaviour with main. Running tsc main. Alternatively, editing start scripts in package. My TypeScript version is 2. My tsc version is 1. Node is 9.
