Hello and Happy Wednesday! Then, in more Moda designers were added to the mix, and the program continued. I absolutely loved playing along last year. My Moda Block Heads 2 quilt is one of my favorites. Block Heads pattern release dates are typically Wednesdays, and our scheduled start date is January 15th, I just wanted to let you know now so you can start thinking about fabric choices. While sadly not all of the original Moda Block Heads are able to participate this time around, we do have some new designers in the mix. I can hardly wait to see their designs. Here is our complete group of designers:. For now, just start thinking about fabric choices that you might want to use. I will be offering a scrappy print pack here and a scrappy low-volume pack for backgrounds here. Note: photos are not of the actual bundles, and while supplies last, get a Summer Sweet mini charm with your order! Are you already thinking of fabric possibilities for your quilt? I had fun with the last sew along. Can you share the size of the blocks…will they be varied? Also, how long will it last? Thank you so much for the information. I too would be new at this…so, just how do i join? You can sign up for my newsletter which will give you an email each time I post…or just stop by each Wednesday beginning January 15th for the block details. I am not sure where to sign up. I missed the first two, but found the first one in book form. Will the second one be published? I am so looking forward to this. I learned so much from MBH2 from the designers and fellow Blockheads. Thank you thank you thank you to all the designers. I love the friendship of quilters and the support we can be to one another. However…I like to see that really fostered and not see any of the rude and hurtful things I saw last year. Wednesdays will be exciting once again. I hope it is a sampler or medallion. I learned so much from BH1 and 2. Thank you! I am beyond excited for round 3! I did both 1 and 2 and loved every minute. I need to think about my fabric choices now. I am sure I have some stash FQ bundles I can use and them buy fabric for background. I am so happy about this news. I made two of the last Blockhead quilt. A halloween and an Asian out of my totes.

I dug deep into the blue bin today. My daughters are 29 and 31 and this blue was used to make pajamas for one of them when they were little. Not sure why I did it this way, I prefer the simpler design, but for some reason I decided to do it with mixed fabrics. Perhaps, I will try again with just a few fabrics, but likely not today. It is a lovely designed block, just not certain that mine gives the block credit. Re-do on Block I like the yellow contrast much better. Jump to. Sections of this page. Accessibility help.
