I'd have prefered not to open a new thread just for this question but I otherwise fail to raise the attention to get an answer. Is there a JoJo stand Tier List? I can't seem to find one and google just gives results for jojo allstar battle. MexikornMay 11, The thing that's great about JoJo is how almost anyone can threaten almost everyone once stands are brought in. It's a mostly a matter of how hax and fast they are for the most useful and even they can be beaten by "lesser stands" on depending on the conditions. There's clearly some obviously better stands such as those used by the main villains, though. MusubiKazesaruMay 11, Making a tier list out of Stands is gonna be a little hard since Stands users with shitty Stands can still beat stronger Stands either through wits or based on hax, speed, certain circumstances, etc. Gordo solosMay 11, I know it's practically the same answer as above but that's how fights involving Stands are like. We could at least rank the top dogs of the verse since that's far easier. Jolyne's Stone Free has no hax to speak of, but using her stand smartly lets her best users with abilities that far outclass her own. OneSimpleAnimeMay 11, Mhm, I see the problem with it. Judging stand powers individually, regardless of whoever the user is would be easier, which is what i was thinking of. In my ahead the very top of the tier list would look something like: 1. Gold Requiem 2. Made in Heaven 3. Weather Report 4. Killer Queen I guess I just hoped someone had made a tier list and I just didnt know. Is the OBD at all interested in making a list? We could just try to quantify the hax of the top tier and go from there. Edit: Just checking stand lists on jojo wiki, so ill put some of the names out there of the higher ups.
JoJo Tier List?
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure adds a twist to the fighting game formula through the use of each characters' "Stand", a supernatural ability or being unique to each character. The game seems like a more ground-focused take on the Marvel vs. This game is an updated version of JoJo's Venture known as Jojo's Bizarre Adventure in Japan and offers several balance changes and newer characters. This game uses a unique version of the three button control scheme. Characters have a low attack, medium attack, and high attack. There's also the stand button noted as S that will either summon a characters stand or perform a special action depending on which character you use. Characters who can activate their stand with the stand button receive additional attacks and variations of their specials and those with an always active stand can use their stand to assist them. Though the Dreamcast version is the more accurate port, the Playstation version is still a decent game in its own right. X-axis functions can be used interchangeably with Y-axis functions and vice versa. X-axis functions cannot be used in conjunction with another X-axis function and vice versa. See his character page for details. Note that the dashes aren't cancelable into a jump or an air dash, making them rather useless and annoying. Jump to: navigationsearch. Spanning several generations, the series is split into eight parts, each following a different descendant of the Joestar family. Parts 7 and 8 take place in a separate continuity from the previous six. Many of the characters have supernatural abilities which give them a variety of unique traits. When first beginning the series, Dio Brando is the character that Araki looked forward to drawing the most. Inspired by FBI profiling of serial killers and how they control their victims through psychological manipulation, he gave Dio a similar trait, using his charisma to ensure his followers do his bidding. Araki revealed that he had not thought up a weakness for the character and that it was difficult to come up with a way for Dio to be defeated. A fan of karate manga as a child, Araki also wanted JoJo to exude an aura of strength like in Karate Baka Ichidaileading to the character learning the supernatural Hamon technique. Zeppeli after martial arts masters in Jackie Chan movies and Mr. Miyagi in The Karate Kidwhose "silly" appearances hide their strength. The Zeppeli name is derived from the English rock band Led Zeppelin. The author referred to Joseph as "a muscle-bound B. Wanting each user to have a different type of Hamon with a unique design, he gave Caesar the seemingly fleeting-bubbles as a "representation of his fate and the burden he is carrying. He stated that at the time it was hard to get Japanese readers to remember a foreign name, so he chose something with repetition. Araki designed Kars with a turban to show his superior intelligence and that he is their king, his Brilliant Bone Blade ability harkening to Araki's earlier series Baoh. Although a Japanese protagonist, Araki modeled Jotaro after American actor Clint Eastwoodincluding his poses and catchphrases. Although the author said the character might seem "rough" compared to other Jump protagonists, Jotaro fits his own image of a hero perfectly as a "loner" who does not do the right thing for attention. Araki said the character wearing his school uniform in the desert has its roots in Mitsuteru Yokoyama 's Babel IIand that if he were to draw the part over again, he would base the Stands on Tetsujin go. Although he is not a fan of bringing them back simply for nostalgia, he did not hesitate having Joseph return to save his daughter because it is completely true to the character. The author thought of having Joseph drop out partway through due to his age, but ended up "playing it by ear" as serialization continued. He gave him the role of "navigator", introducing the readers to the Joestar family, Dio, Hamon and Stands, and his own Stand being a support ability rather than offensive. Araki stated that he had Kakyoin act as a foil to Jotaro.
