Please be aware that the content of this thread may be outdated and no longer applicable. In the Steam Library tab, click on 'Don't Starve'. Click on the mod you want to install. Now click on the subscribe button. The mod will now be dowloaded next time you run 'Don't Starve'. Your new mod should now work with any worlds you already have and any new ones you create. Have fun. You have the Steam version of Don't Starve and you clicked on subscribe and then went to the mods menu and that mod didn't show up in the list? I'm having the same problem, but only on Linux version. I have a dual boot machine and the Linux version doesn't show me the mods I subscribed on Steam they appear normally on Windows version in the same machine. Locating your ARK Mods The first thing that you will need to do is find where your mod files are located so that you can install them on your server. You must subscribe to at least one ARK workshop mod and run the game to make sure that the files are downloaded by your Steam client. Read the above linked tutorial for help with this. Steam Install Directory refers to where you installed Steam. This could be different on any computer. If you have subscribed to it, you should see this in your mods folders: Make a note of the ModID of every mod that you install. You will need it for later. Installing Mods to your ARK Server Now that you have located your mod files, you just need to put them on your server and then tell your server how to load them. First, let's upload the mods to the server: Login to your server's FTP. Select all of the mod folders and.
