Creature IDs

Creature IDs are used to spawn in-game creatures. If you frequently need to spawn in items or creatures, you might consider downloading a command tool. There are two ways to spawn in a creature. Using the Summon command you will get one having a random level. To get a specific level use SpawnDino. Using Summon the creature will spawn in you and then will glitch out of you. Use the following command to specify a distance. The stands for a distance of about one or two foundations further away in the direction you are looking. Look a bit up, not in the ground. If you don't use a noteworthy distance value the creature will spawn in you and then will glitch out of you - not the best recommendation for carnivores. Sign In. Jump to: navigationsearch. Item IDs. I have heard about it, but don't know much about it or how to actually enter any type of command. I have read that there are kangaroos in the area, but haven't found one I managed to grab a terror bird just as a gigantosaurus descended on them and wiped out the rest. I tried going on a killing spree, but then wouldn't that be a waste of time as the gigantosaurs at least 8 on Far Peak for me; possibly less on another nearby mountain as the gigantosaurus would just try to wipe out the new spawns? So my questions are: 1. Is it recommended to use the destroy wild dino command in this case? Would it possibly give less or none gigantosaurus in that one area? Are there any issues that may happen lag, etc. I would guess that it would be just emporary. How do I enter the command in? I never entered a command like this in the game before. Yes, but they would only be gone for a very short time. Depending on the dinocountmultiplier that many could spawn again eventually. There is a brief freezing of the game, in my SP usually about seconds in duration. It won't happen immediately usually within the first minute after entering the command, and once that brief freeze is done thats it. It will still take some time for everything to respawn back to normal numbers. Open the console with whatever key you have it set to I think default is Tab? Ah, thank you. I tried the command and it worked. No Gigantosaurus in Far Peak. Lot more terror birds and managed to grab a kangaroo. Originally posted by michael. Fluffy unicorn View Profile View Posts. All of the info given above is false at this moment. Beacuse all you have told us is that you play on a server alone. You how ever don't tell us if you are the server owner or an admin, If you are only an admin then the server might be altered to spawn more gigas than normall. They just go into stasis untill your close to them and then they go nuts "IF" there are other dino's in there range. Originally posted by Grumble :. I only play alone.

I'd like to know if there's a way to use this data for other stuff and whether a custom Dino could be made this way, but yeah Originally posted by Xonikz :. It extracts the dinos stats. Are there any linux players on here that know where the file is located on linux when you extract the stats? Pandabearzach View Profile View Posts. Originally posted by KitsuneShiro :. Ark dinosaurs: the best dinos to tame in Ark: Survival Evolved

By GeorgeOctober 12, in General Discussion. I'm a one man tribe witch means that leveling up dino's is a real pain in the butt. When combined with a grinder woud make leveling up rexes for boss fight a lot easier. Anyone heard of a change like this made in future updates? Have you ever jumped on a Dino while crafting? Alpha's are the best way to level up in general, start at carno island and then I just follow the big long river to the volcano to find alpha's, plus main base is at about on the nice cliff line below base of volcano on the river, you can make a nice bridge from there to the redwood cliff line on the other side of the river, down the river a bit by the good fishing ponds on the edge of redwood alpha's also tend to spawn there as well. Course that's assuming your on the island map lol. Depends on the dinos you want to level. Only works with fighters like rexes, theriz and so on: wyvern trap and let them kill the wyverns. Agree with Baton. Tame dino, kill everything not alpha rex for sure. Or shoot strong animals from high till they become bloody, then finish them with your dino. Wyverns give a lot exp. Use the AFK timer to your advantage. Set up a few air conditioners around a chair within render of all of your dinos. Get your food and water full. Sit on chair. Go to bed. You keeping them in render allows them to continue to gain passive XP. If you do this for a day or two all of your dinos will have around 10k xpwhich is 40 levels. All good sugestions. But for me, between building, raising babys and my real life there's not much room for leveling up rexes. Btw, that's my issue, i have good stat rexes but no time to level them up. If i take one for some alpha killing that at leas a hour. I have done the passive xp where i woud sit next to ac's while i was at work. Quetzals; cut down trees them, giving lvl depending on your server stats lvls in 15ish minutes. Make spike falls to where you aggro a Dino alphas do not count As the Dino falls into the trap boxs with spikes it will die and you're small mount will fail lvls. Kill the Titian with your wyvern. I mind you. Don't carry stuff in your wyvern's claws

This dossier section is intended to be an exact copy of what the survivor Helenathe author of the dossiers has written. There may be some discrepancies between this text and the in-game creatures. Like the Carnotaurus, Baryonyx aquafulguar is a large carnivore, but not large enough to rival the Island's apex predators. While not as powerful as some deep-sea predators or Spinosaurus, Baryonyx is an extremely fast swimmer who is still sufficiently nimble enough to threaten most creatures on the Island. And yet despite being a fast, dangerous dinosaur, Baryonyx almost exclusively consumes fish and other water-dwellers. The highly specific metabolism of Baryonyx seems to allow it to heal wounds almost preternaturally fast after feeding on nutritious fish meat. Baryonyx's natural affinity for aquatic predation means that once tamed; it learns to kill ocean-dwellers even more efficiently. Between its speed and its power, Baryonyx makes an ideal choice for anyone interested in frequently moving between water and land travel, and who values speed and agility over raw strength. It lives near bodies of water, due to the fact that it eats fish as its main diet. It is also a very good swimmer, sometimes needing to go out into the water to get its prey, however, it is also said that its long claws are for catching prey on land, not just in water. Despite what the dossier states, a Baryonyx will target any nearby players, mounts or wild creatures, regardless of whether they are on land or in water. While this creature is not the fastest swimming mount Slower than Megalodon during sprint, at base its ability to temporarily stun creatures Duration- 10 seconds with its spin attack can make the Baryonyx an adept aquatic mount or fighter. Note- the stun does not function on very small, dangerous creatures such as Cnidarianor very large, dangerous creatures such as Mosasaurs. Unless your target is medium-sized, the targets will only be damaged. Additionally, much like the Kaprosuchusthe Baryonyx will surface in a more diagonal trail rather than a directly vertical path, making it slightly more difficult to escape from Mosasaurs and Plesiosaurs. Baryonyx resembles a typical mid-sized carnivorous dinosaur except for its crocodile-like head with serrated teeth and having longer arms with large claws. These features are specially adapted to the animal's diet of fish and other water-dwellers. It looks somewhat like a hybrid of a Kaprosuchus and Spinoand is about the size of a Carnotaurus. This section displays the Baryonyx's natural colors and regions. For demonstration, the regions below are colored red over an albino Baryonyx. The colored squares shown underneath each region's description are the colors that the Baryonyx will randomly spawn with to provide an overall range of its natural color scheme. Hover your cursor over a color to display its name and ID. Type in values of a wild creature to see on which stats it's emphasized. Green values on a high-level creature are very good for breeding. If you have already tamed your creature you can try to recover the breeding-stats with an external tool. The stat-calculator does not work in the mobile-view, see here for alternatives: Apps. Note that after the creature is tamed it gets bonuses on some stats depending on the taming effectiveness. This makes it hard to retrieve the levels on a tamed creature, so this tool is only for wild onesbut gives a first impression, how well the stats are distributed.
